Case Handling Flow

The changing states of a research project registration.

This article explains how a caseworker can manage project submission statuses. When a researcher submits a project, it automatically receives the status "Draft Submitted".

As a caseworker, you can change the status of the submission from within the processing activity, where you can select "Edit Status" in the top right corner.

This opens a dialog box where you can choose from the following four statuses:

  • Active: Select this status if the project has been approved.
  • Archived: Select this status if the project has been completed and needs to be archived.
  • Awaiting Researcher: Select this status if the researcher needs to provide additional information. This will reopen the submission flow for the researcher, who will be notified to resubmit.
  • Discontinued: Select this status if the project has been permanently stopped or cancelled.

Once you have selected the new status, click "Save" in the dialogue box.
