Creating Activities in the Annual Wheel
Creating activities in the Annual Wheel allows you to plan recurring work. These activities automatically generate tasks at the specified frequency — so nothing is forgotten.
Step-by-Step: Creating an Activity
- Click Create Activity
- Fill in:
• Title of the activity (e.g. 'Annual policy review')
• Frequency (e.g. yearly, twice per year)
• Responsible user (who oversees the task generation)
• Task performer (optional)
• Month(s) when tasks should be generated
• Compliance areas (GDPR, NIS2 etc.)
• Business area / tags
• Description or guidance text - Click Save
What Happens Next?
Based on your settings, tasks will be created automatically at the right time. These tasks will appear in the task module and will be linked back to the originating activity.
Advanced Setup Options
- Create activities from a template
- Link a task approver (if review is required)
- Require documentation upload on completion
- Add relation to a policy, vendor or processing activity
