Policy Management: Overview

The Policy Management add-on brings your compliance policies into the .legal platform, so you can write, version, distribute, and track sign-offs without switching between tools.

• Rich text editor – write and format policy content directly in the platform, organised into sections and subsections.
• Import from document – upload an existing Word or PDF policy and the platform will convert it into an editable draft.
• Version control – every change is tracked. When you publish, you choose whether the update is editorial or substantive, and the version number updates accordingly.
• Version history – a full log of every published version, with side-by-side or inline comparison available at any time.
• Control linking – link individual policy sections to controls in your active compliance frameworks.
• Recipients and sign-offs – distribute published policies to internal users or external recipients and track sign-off progress.
• Policies overview – a single view of all your policies, with filtering, search, and custom saved views.
