      Create an unique processing activity

      This article helps you to start creating a unique processing activity from scratch.

      As a new user, your homepage will be empty. To get started, you must create some processing activities.

      Tip: You can either create your own processing activities from scratch or use .legal’s processing activity templates as a starting point.

      If you want to start adding your own processing activities from scratch select “Add processing activity”.

      Give the processing activity a name and click on the “Create”-button.

      You will now be guided through six steps in the creation process of your processing activity. 

      Note: Your entries are automatically saved along the way.

      Furthermore, help texts are presented along the way - look for the i-icon.

      Tip: The level of granularity of the processing activities to be documented can be hard to determine and may vary in relation to company size. If you are in doubt you may want to use our predefined templates as a starting point.
