Accesses are used to manage the access at the individual contract level and can be used both for limiting and expanding access to a specific contract.
On a confidential contract, access can be used to manage exactly which users and/or business units are allowed to have access to the contract. For non-confidential contracts, access can be used to specify additional users and/or business units which have access to the contract.
Clicking on the access tab on the contract view will show you all the accesses currently associated with the contract:
The icon on the left side indicates if the Access is for a business unit or a user.
Manage user access
User access can be managed by clicking on the "+ Manage" button at the upper right-hand side of the access list (see picture above) followed by clicking on the "+ Manage User Access" button after which the following screen appears:
The relevant user accesses can now be selected after which you click on "Save".
Manage Business Unit Access
Business Unit access can be managed by clicking on the "+ Manage" button at the upper right hand side of the access list (see picture above) followed by clicking on the "+ Manage Business Unit Access" button after which the following screen appears:
The relevant business unit Accesses can now be selected after which you click on "Save".
Remove user access or business unit access
Pre-existing accesses can be removed by clicking on the "Garbage Can" icon at the right-hand side of the Access (se picture below):
Confirm deletion by clicking on "Delete" in the associated pop-op window to remove the access.
