Viewing and managing tasks within a control
This guide explains how to view and manage tasks within a control, including understanding task statuses and editing both individual and recurring tasks.
When you open a control, you'll see an overview of all its underlying tasks. This list provides key information to help you track and manage your tasks effectively.
Task Information
The task list shows the following details for each task:
- ID - Unique task identifier
- Task title - Name of the task
- Deadline - Due date for completion
- Task type - Category of the task
- Group company - Associated group company
- Responsible - Person responsible for the task
- Assignee - Person assigned to complete the task
- Task recurrence - How often the task repeats
- Task status - Current state of the task
Task Status Types
Tasks are categorised into four status types:
- Planned - Task is scheduled but not yet started
- Ongoing - Task is currently in progress
- Completed - Task has been finished
- Overdue - Task has passed its deadline without completion
Responsible and assignee can be changed directly in the list.
Click any task in the list to open it. To modify recurrence or other general settings for recurring tasks, you must edit the task directly in the annual wheel. For quick access, click the hierarchy icon beside the task title – this will take you directly to the corresponding annual wheel activity.
To modify settings that affect all instances of a recurring task (such as recurrence patterns or general settings), you must edit the task in the annual wheel.
