Add financial exposure to a risk
Record what a risk would cost you if it materialised, so the risk can be weighed against a budget.
Risk exposure is the estimated financial loss if the risk materialises. It is optional. Some risk areas work perfectly well on the scale alone, while others benefit from having a figure that can be compared against an investment or a budget line.
- Open the entity and go to the risk assessment you want to add a figure to.
- Find the Specify financial exposure field.
- Enter the estimated financial loss if the risk materialises.
- Click Save.

The figure rolls up into the risk area overview and into the management report, where total exposure is shown both as it stands now and as it would be once your open mitigation plans are completed.
Please note: these are estimates. Their value lies in the order of magnitude and the comparison between risks, not in precision.
