Contacts: assessment and policy recipients

Contacts are people who can receive internal assessments and policies without having access to the platform. Create a contact once, and reuse them every time you send.

When you send an internal assessment or distribute a policy, the recipient does not have to be a platform user. Contacts exist for exactly this: they can receive and answer what you send them, but they cannot log in and see anything else.

Where contacts live

All contacts can be viewed and edited under Settings > Account Management > Contacts. Because they are stored centrally, a contact you created for one assessment is available the next time you send something.

Three ways to choose a recipient

When sending an internal assessment you can select:

  • a user within the platform;
  • a contact created on one of your group companies;
  • a new contact that you create on the spot, without leaving the sending flow.

Give a contact a business area

A contact can be assigned one or more business areas when you create them. Doing so pays off later: when you send an assessment or a policy, you can select the business area and every contact in it is added as a recipient at once, instead of picking people out one by one.

Important notes

  • Contacts have no platform access. They only receive what you send them.
  • You can only see contacts for the group companies you have access to.
  • A contact can receive both internal assessments and policies.
