Understanding the Incident Overview Widget

The incident overview widget gives you a quick visual summary of all reported incidents. It helps you track incidents across the organisation and understand how critical they are.

The widget focuses on:

  • Number of incidents
  • Severity (criticality)
  • Status of handling

It’s your starting point for incident response and documentation.

Visualisation by Criticality

Incidents are displayed in a bar chart showing how many are:

  • Low
  • Medium
  • High
  • Critical

Each bar is colour-coded, and you can click any bar to open the filtered list in the incident module.

Understanding What’s Included

The widget includes:

  • Incidents you’ve created
  • Incidents reported by others in your organisation
  • Incidents created via integrations (e.g., SIEM systems)

Each entry includes metadata such as source, system, category, and status.

Tip: Critical incidents remain visible until they are fully resolved and closed.

From Insight to Action

When you click an incident bar or number, you’re taken to the full Incident Management module. Here you can:

  • Review and edit incident details
  • Add comments and documentation
  • Change status and mark incidents as resolved
