Mitigate a risk across several entities

Apply the same mitigation plan to many entities at once when one control covers all of them.

One security measure often addresses the same risk on many different systems. Bulk mitigation lets you record it once instead of repeating the same plan on every entity.

  1. Open the risk area and go to the Operational overview.
  2. Click Bulk mitigate.
  3. Select the entities the plan should cover.
  4. Click the button "mitigate"
  5. Fill in the plan: scenario to mitigate, description, expected risk level and deadline.
  6. Click Save to create the plan across every selected entity.

The system will validate the selected risk scenario, so that the mitigation will only be applied if the selected risk scenario are assessed on the selected entity.

Using the same wording across entities also makes the documentation easier to read when it is reviewed externally.
