Planning One-Off Tasks

Some tasks aren’t recurring — they’re one-off actions you need to assign and track. The platform lets you plan, delegate and document them in a structured way.

Information you can add

What information can you add to a task?

You can add up to eight fields to a task, including a task name, responsible person, deadline, and approver. The full list of available fields is shown below.

  • Task name
  • Description
  • Responsible person
  • Business area
  • Deadline (by month)
  • Tags
  • Approver
  • Documentation requirement

Tip: One-off tasks are fully flexible. You can change any field at any time.

Ad Hoc Tasks and Annual Wheel Tasks

A task created directly in task management is an ad hoc task: it is not tied to the structured planning of the annual wheel. That suits work which arises on its own — an unplanned follow-up, an operational routine, a one-off compliance action, or something specific to your own team.

On the task board the two are easy to tell apart. Tasks that came from the annual wheel carry a dedicated icon, which links straight to the activity behind them, and a filter lets you show one type or the other.

Note: on an ad hoc task every field can be edited directly. On an annual wheel task most details have to be changed on the activity instead.
