Preview Documents in the Platform
Document preview lets you view documents directly within the platform without downloading them. This is available across all modules where documents are stored - contracts, policies, processing activities, assets, and more.
Supported Formats
- PDF documents
- Word documents
- Images (PNG, JPG, etc.)
How to Preview a Document
1. Navigate to any record that contains documents (e.g., a contract, policy, or processing activity).
2. In the documents tab, click on the document name or the preview icon.
3. The document opens in an inline viewer within the platform.
Navigation Features
When previewing documents:
- Use arrow keys to cycle through multiple documents in the list without closing the preview window.
- For PDFs, use the search function to find and highlight specific text within the document.
- Close the preview to return to the documents list.
Preview from Search Results
If you use the platform's document search (or the Document Search & OCR add-on), you can open a document preview directly from the search results — allowing you to quickly verify whether a search result is the document you're looking for.
