dotLegal lets you collaborate on processing activities using tags, references, and comments. Use these tools to organise your work, link to relevant documentation, and communicate with colleagues directly within each activity.

  • Tag users and documents

Tags

Tags let you group processing activities for easier reporting and filtering. You can create custom tag labels, assign multiple tags to a single activity, and filter your activity list by tag in the overview.

References

In any description field, you can reference documentation or colleagues by:

  • Typing / to reference documentation
  • Using @ to tag a colleague
  • Using # to tag a topic or category

These references create clickable links, making it easy for colleagues to navigate directly to the relevant documentation, colleague profile, or topic.
