How do I justify a deletion period?

When documenting your processing activities, you may need to justify your chosen deletion periods.

Step 1

In the edit flow for a processing activity, select step 5: Homes.

Step 2: Delete

Here you can select deletion periods for the personal data categories added to the processing activity. 

Step 3.

Under each deletion deadline, you will find a justification field where you can elaborate on your choice of deletion deadline.
