Pactius Notifications

Get started with notifications in the PACTIUS platform

What are contract notifications and how do they work?

Contract notifications are automated e-mail alerts that Pactius sends to users when specific events occur on a contract. All notifications for a given user are collected into a single daily e-mail, so each user receives at most one notification e-mail per day.

Note:

What are the requirements for notifications to be sent?

Two conditions must be met before the platform will send notifications for a contract:

  • The contract must have the status Approved.
  • The relevant user must have a registered e-mail address.

Notifications are sent out for the following events:

  • Expiry of the contract: If you have set an end date on the contract and specified how many days before the end date you want to receive a notification, the system will send a notification to the contract manager the specified number of days before the contract end date.
  • Task fulfilment: If you have enabled notifications on an obligation, Pactius sends a notification to the person responsible for that obligation the specified number of days before the task due date.
  • Expiration of obligation: When a task date passes without the task being marked as completed, and the Activity required setting is enabled on the associated obligation, a notification is sent to the person responsible for the obligation informing them that the obligation is now overdue. The Activity required setting can be configured on the obligation record and indicates that the task must be actively completed by the responsible person.

Note: Notifications about contract expiration are always sent to the contract manager, whereas notifications about tasks and overdue obligations are always sent to the person responsible for the individual obligation.
